The National Fruit Show brings commercial growers, suppliers and industry professionals together for one focused day dedicated to the British fruit sector.

Meet leading exhibitors, discover the latest products, services, machinery and technology, and take part in practical conversations with people from across the industry.

At the heart of the Show is the renowned commercial fruit competition display, showcasing the very best of British top fruit and nuts. Whether you have entered your own fruit, are interested in seeing the work of other growers, are a buyer or want to see the fruit produced by your customers, the display offers a valuable opportunity to view and compare the diverse range of varieties grown across the UK.

The National Fruit Show is free to attend, but registration is required. To save time on the door, please register online.

Travel and parking

The National Fruit Show is held annually inside the Bracher's Building at Kent Events Centre and Showground, Detling. The Showground is ideally suited for arrival by car, being located just off the A249 dual carriageway.
From the M20 Motorway, exit the motorway at junction 7 and follow signs to Sittingbourne, Sheerness A249. Follow the A249 for approximately 2 miles, the Kent Event Centre and Showground are clearly signposted on the left-hand side after the brow of the hill.
From the M2 Motorway, exit the motorway at junction 5 signposted (M20) Maidstone A249. Follow the A249 for approximately 5 miles. Please be aware that cars are unable to cross over the carriageway to the Showground on the right-hand side of the road. Visitors will need to carry on along the A249 to the roundabout at the bottom of Detling hill, then follow the M20 directions above.

The nearest train station is Maidstone East Railway Station, which is 4.2 miles from the Showground. Trains to London Victoria depart twice an hour. The nearest airport is Gatwick, which is 41 miles from the Showground.

Once you have arrived, please follow the road, signage and team members who will direct you to the available parking areas.

Please note: The Kent Event Centre and Showground are no longer accessible via Scragged Oak Road. Using this route will direct you to a locked gate.

When and where is the National Fruit Show?

The National Fruit Show will take place on Wednesday 4th November 2026 in the Bracher’s Building at Kent Event Centre and Showground, Detling, Maidstone, Kent ME14 3JF.

The Show is open to visitors from 9am until 5pm.
Yes. The National Fruit Show is free to attend. You can register online in advance or when you arrive, although advance registration is recommended as it will save you time at the entrance on Show day.
The Show is for commercial fruit growers, suppliers, buyers, researchers and other professionals working in or connected with the British fruit sector.
Visitors can meet exhibitors offering products, services, machinery and technology for the commercial fruit industry. The Show also features its renowned commercial fruit competition display, bringing together an extensive selection of British top fruit and nuts.
Yes. Free parking is available at Kent Event Centre and Showground. Follow the event signs and directions from the parking stewards when you arrive.
The Kent Event Centre and Showground is located just off the A249 and is clearly signposted from the M20 and M2. Please do not approach through Scragged Oak Road, as this entrance is closed.
Maidstone East is the nearest railway station, approximately 4.2 miles from Kent Event Centre and Showground. Visitors travelling by train should arrange a taxi or other onward transport to the venue.
The Showground has concrete roads connecting its main areas and ramp access to the exhibition halls. Accessible parking is available close to the main entrances.
Yes. Free Wi-Fi is available.
Assistance dogs are welcome.
Smoking, including vaping and the use of e-cigarettes, is not permitted inside any of the Showground’s buildings. Designated smoking areas are available outside.

Several hotels and other accommodation options are available in and around Maidstone. The National Fruit Show has secured beneficial rates with the Orida Hotel, located on Bearsted Road in Maidstone. Please quote “National Fruit Show” when booking.
